yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 28, 2007 On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. Served dark golden, almost clear, with a nice off-white head, leaving nice lacings. That was the best part of the beer. The nose and flavor are quite metallic, and the flavor has cooked meat, some sourness and a dash of caramel, and finishes metallic and slightly fruity. Too thin body. Definately not a successful weissbier, for a moment I though I had switched two glasses. (070805) MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Aug 20, 2007 Draught at BBF07. Buttery aroma. Hazy amber colour. White head. The flavour is citric, bordering on sour, with a little butter. Would not have guessed this to be a Weizen. Not very good.
