Jul 10, 2008 Bottle (by kind permission of Stefan !): Golden, lively carbonation, smaller stable creamy head; sweet grainy nose with a touch of toasted malt and some hops in the second row; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; short sweet dusty-grainy finish with the faintest tinge of alcohol in the aftertaste. Not bad, well quaffable...............

Jun 26, 2008 (33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a big, moderately lasting foamy white head. Sweet and bready caramel-malty aroma with light notes of herbal hops. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Bready malty taste with no extravaganzas; medium-dry, moderately sweet malt-accented finish with a shy hoppy bitterness (26.06.08).
Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany
Jun 24, 2008 bottle, vought at the brewery. Clear strawy golden yellow, medium-sized head. Malty nose. Malty, slightly sweet with some hop accents. Hints of herbs and grass.
