Zywiec lager pours a beautiful bright and clear golden yellow in my pilsner glass. A large frothy head of poufy white foam forms on the head and lingers for a good minute or two. It fades into a light ring around the glass with little bits of foam-clouds floating on top. Light grass and lager yeasts in the nose. A light, delicate aroma, whereas the palate is a flavor explosion. Sweet, light, mild crisp and grassy with a hint of lemon and floral. A very well balanced lager and a steady stream of bubbles rising to burst on the top, releasing a constant grassy lemon nose. Zywiec Lager holds her way all the way till the end, full of rich, sweet, and crisp grass, lemon, and lager flavors perfectly married to discerning palate. An overall clean body and mouthfeel makes for a very quaffable lager.
I am always overly ecstatic when I find a new good lager. I wouldn’t say that the traditional lager is my least-favorite beer style, but instead my most particular beer style.

Appearance is yellow/gold color with a white head, like a pale lager. The aroma is malty, mainly. Definitely corn thrown in there (I thought this was not supposed to happen in premium lagers!!!??!!) Weak flavor mainly of malts and adjuncts, not impressive. Sour palate on this beer, definitely not hoppy. Drinkable, which doesn’t really say much. Someone here called this a "Lawnmower Beer". That’s cool. I have to remember that term.

Bottle. Mellow gold color thin white head. Alot of carb. Aroma of barley and some hops. Thicker to the palate than expected. Has a nice strong taste for a lager with a malty finish. Not bad for a lager

This is not a complex beer. This is a Polish lawnmower beer that is a bit heavy on the corn. A fair amount of skunkiness in the nose, a healthy rocky head that is peroxide white. Went down easy and has a strong hop finish and aftertaste that is the strong point of this lager. It is enjoyable nonetheless.

No good BAD reallyTypical polish lager and not worth the money spent on it buy something different instead.

500ml bottle BB 12.12.08. Clean pale gold body, soapy white head and lace. Grainy malt on the nose, bit of straw and corn, hint of floral hop. Moderate carbonation, syrupy consistency, drying throughout. Cereal malt body, corn and rice, bit sweet, hops coming through slightly grassy on the finish with a reasonably clean bitterness. Pretty simple, maybe a tad to sweet for my likings.

Not bad at all for being, from what I saw the flagship beer in Poland. This stuff is refreshing and leaves a nice aftertaste in the mouth. The malt profile is light and keeps this beer fresh.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Clean malt aroma, lightly sweet with a touch of hops. Sweet malt flavor with trace hops. Not bad.
