Apr 28, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden clear color with a froathy small white bubbles. The aroma is grassy and full of harvest smells. The taste is sweet grassy with a nice suttle hoppiness, not overwhelming but refreshing.

Apr 27, 2008 Medium hedging towards light gold, decent head lasts rather well. Aroma is honey sweet, lightly bready, with a hint of hay and grass hops. Flavor is quite sweet, loaf of white bread, with a drying bitterness on the finish accented by grassy and lightly floral hops. Bready note lingers, not exactly the cleanest finish. Not bad, not great.

Apr 26, 2008 500 ml can. Bready aromas a lot of cereal grains with hints of honey and sweet malts. Pours a very light blonde with a thick white head. Honey malts with some cereal grains, with hints of grassy flavors, with a small bite at the end. Nothing great here.

Apr 25, 2008 Updated: Nov 24, 2009This was actually one of the better Polish beers that I had while living there, so maybe this rating is partly out of nostalgia. It’s pretty widely available, but if you’re ever in Poland, good luck pronouncing the name right when ordering.

I tried this beer on March 12, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBOI outlets. The beer poured a nice translucent gold colour with a minimal white head. The aroma was mainly grainy malts with nothing else. The mouthfeel mwas medium bodied with ample carbonation. The flavour was similar to the aroma in that it was very malty with very little other discernable flavours. This beer is readily available in Canada, but is simply an average brew at best. Not something I would consider buying again.
