| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottled 50cl. 5.6 ABV. It pours a clear golden beer with a nice white head. Lively carbonation. The nose is sulphury, herbal, slightly sour with a strong sweet touch accompanied by a hint of onion. Malt, alcohol, candy and vegetables in the taste. Low bitterness. A very boring strong lager with a beautiful lacing. Dissapointing finish with a hint of pale malts and onion. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Nooo. Way too low a rating from the reviewers here. This is a fine light, slightly sweet pale lager without a dectectable hop presence. This must attribute to the low score here. Very drinkable summertime beer. Ignore the nay-sayers and give this one a try. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 31, 2008 I had this right after trying Budweiser Burgerbrau (1795) and while pleasant it certainly did not live up to the other. It is gold with a medium white head that steadily shrings to a thin ring and leaves only faint hints of lace. The aroma is light grain, yeast, dough, and hints of apple with no detectable hops save maybe the faint wisp that I think seems like apple peel. The taste is clean and pleasant, but very light on the malt and with essentially no detectable hop taste. It starts off lightly sweet then finishes with a faint bitterness. It is fairly nicely balanced, light, and enjoyable, with nothing unplesant, but it’s rather boring.
