Bottled. Sound enough. Light gold, little head. Slightly fruity and sweet but with a hint of chemical aftertaste. Thin, slightly watery, moderate carbonation.

Pours golden with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, grain and a touch of smoke. Flavor has notes of grain, grass, a little touch of caramel and lemon. Moderately sweet with some noble hop bitterness appears at the end. Medium body, very nice creamy texture and lively carbonation. Overall, nothing special but a solid, drinkin’ beer.

Pours a light golden colour with no head. Standard pale lager fare. Better than most I’ve had.

Bottled. Adequate carbonation. It had a grainy scent to it. Hoppy taste, clean finish. A proper lager.

Can. Slightly bready aroma. Golden colour, very small head. The flavour has a slight acidity without being unpleasant. OK, medium to high, bitterness.

It is a bad bad beer. Uninteresting appearance. Smells of chemicals or medicine. Watery, flat taste, again chemicals, metallic aftertaste. Nothing appealling in this beer. It clogs the stomach.

Bottle, 50cl. Clear, golden colour, small head which quickly disappeared. Grainy, cereal aromas. Light, with quite a strawy taste. Acute bitter almost vinegary finish, with a malty aftertaste. Pleasant Polish lager, though Warka is, I think, is better.

Draught in Krakow. I think it was called Zywiec Pils on the (English) drinks list, but I presume this is the same beer. Golden colour, moderate head, moderate carbonation. A fairly decent standard pils in my book.
