May 8, 2006 Pours golden with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, grain and a touch of smoke. Flavor has notes of grain, grass, a little touch of caramel and lemon. Moderately sweet with some noble hop bitterness appears at the end. Medium body, very nice creamy texture and lively carbonation. Overall, nothing special but a solid, drinkin’ beer.

Apr 28, 2006 It is a bad bad beer. Uninteresting appearance. Smells of chemicals or medicine. Watery, flat taste, again chemicals, metallic aftertaste. Nothing appealling in this beer. It clogs the stomach.

Apr 28, 2006 Bottle, 50cl. Clear, golden colour, small head which quickly disappeared. Grainy, cereal aromas. Light, with quite a strawy taste. Acute bitter almost vinegary finish, with a malty aftertaste. Pleasant Polish lager, though Warka is, I think, is better.

Apr 28, 2006 Draught in Krakow. I think it was called Zywiec Pils on the (English) drinks list, but I presume this is the same beer. Golden colour, moderate head, moderate carbonation. A fairly decent standard pils in my book.
