Pours to a clear golden color with a large fluffy white head that was slow to dissipate. Medium, yet mild carbonation. Surface of the beer is lacey when head dissipates. Aroma of flowery hops and malts. Aroma is not the best feature of this beer. Starts mild with a sweet character that leads to biscuity malt and then to spicey hop, and finishes bitter, with a clean finish, leaving a malty after-taste. Wonderful to the palate, giving a very smooth and crisp, refreshing taste. Not the most complex of lagers or pilsners, but a wonderful, well rounded beer. Great for any time, but especially after a long day or after a round of golf. I truly love to kick back and relax with this beer in hand. Its one of my all-around favorites. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Updated: Jul 24, 200912 oz. Bottle. Spotted in a billiard hall’s lighted beer cooler. Had a "Best by 2-10-06," but maybe that meant October 2, not Feb. 10. Pretty standard pale lager pour and head. A mostly decent smell, may have been a bit oxidized. But I found the taste to be surprisingly engaging. Some malts to notice, and bit of a grainy texture. But it has a rather aggressive hop profile that doesn’t normally survive in a bottled European import (thank you brown bottle!). A bit spicy, definitely noble hops at work here. I asked the bartender if she’s tried it, and was told "Oh, I don’t drink Polish beers." Too bad, this one’s the best thing she’s got in that bar. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Short white head on a golden yellow body. The general impression is "ordinary". The flavour is wanting, and it is a little watery. Not much to say about this one! entertheiceman (242), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Mar 31, 2006 Pitiful pale golden appearance with nary so much as a head at all. Aroma is a little grassy and taste is,...well I’m sure there is something there, sort of like a bitter grass and dry hop taste with a watery but ever so slightly sweet flavor. On one hand the palate is actually buttery and that was a nice suprise, on the other hand there is just no flavor here to warrant any respect. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
