Clean golden colour lead to light grassy floral notes and a clean malty flavour. It wasn’t great but there was a slight bitterness in the finish and it was certainly drinkable. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 25, 2005 Bottle: Pale golden colour, medium sized white head, quickly diminishing; bready nose, some traces of alcohol; bready, malty start, light sweetish flavour, bready aftertaste, absolutely low hopped; light bodied, nearly watery and also a bit sticky; absolutely not refreshing.....! That’s really "liquid bread"; maybe the quality would improve, if the brewery would add liquid butter and liquid sausage, to get a liquid sandwich........ Its flat looking bad tasting smelling nonsence really. However u can get it for £1:49 a bottle on mondays! this is obviously canceled out by the fact that guest ales are only £1:29. Would love to try the porter but this is all we get in Australia: another dull Euro-lager to compete with our own macro crap. Poured a pale straw colour with a middling head. Light malty aroma of no special distinction. Some floral hops in the finish. Blah.
