| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2008 Pours very dark, tan head, rather large bubbles and lacing. Tons of roasted mat, coffee, and alcohol in the aroma. Alcohol overpowers some of the other flavors you’d expect from the nose. Decent, but a bit one dimensional. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Another beer provided courtesy of my brother (pojo41). Poured almost completely black with small off-white head/tan that dissipated quickly. Aroma was of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor was also of roasted malt, coffee, and also chocolate. Nice mouthfeel. Coudnt believe this was 9.5% abv as it was hidden well. Dangerously drinkable. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Bottle. Poured a nearly black color with a light brown head that didn’t last. Nice dark roasted malt aroma. flavor of dark raosted malt with a bit of chocolate and coffee. A good, almost oily mouthfeel. Very much like a robust porter but, with the clean crisp flavor of a lager. Almost like a jacked-up schwarzbier A very good Baltic Porter. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Dark, almost black with a thick tan head.
Malty and fruity notes. Sweet, malty and some sourness. Medium body with a bitter sweet aftertaste. drpimento (873), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Now here we have a remarkable beer. Abundance of character. all of the clasic baltic porter hallmarks coupled with individualistics such as roastiness, darker grains and perhaps a special yeastoid. Poured with a tan head, lots of lace and pitch black color. Opaque. perfect balance between bitter and sweet, with enough body to compliment the works. Bravo. almost robust enough to be too much of a beer for the session lablel. tough it out bro. AMN (127), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Thin brown head with a deep black body. Lots of chocolate/caramel malts in here. My only complaint is the heavy aroma of alcohol that overpowers some of the malt flavors. matt7215 (996), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
