Bottle at LCRBM2. The most bitter porter i’ve had. Lots of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Very nice!

medium ruby color with a small tan head, light color by porter standards, malthy roasty flavor. Stale cardboard flavor with some roasted malt undertones. Thin moth feel for teh style. Perhaps a imporoperly stored bottle that may have been heat/cool cycled?

Thanks to Goldtwins for the bottle. Alcohol and mollasses aroma. Looks like a stout. Full and creamy palate. Definite chocolate and roasted malt flavors up front with a sort of lager-like quality to it.

Pours very deep red--almost black--with a large tan head. Excellent molasses, caramel, and nut aroma, with a touch of herbal hoppiness that blends perfectly. There’s some spice in there, as well; I almost want to say nutmeg. Classic porter flavor--chocolate, caramel, molasses--with a little alcohol bite at the end to remind you that this is Baltic. None of the flavors are overdone, and it’s not overly roasty. Damn fine beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with a thick chocolate mousse head that leaves lacy off-white circles. Mostly molasses in the aroma, but a bit of nuts and banana can be found. Creamy medium body with full carbonation. Taste of chocolate, banana, vanilla, cashews. Dry coffee finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep, dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, molasses, banana and a smidge of chocolate. Flavor was full of the roasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Medium bodied, dry and light on the carbonation. Alcohol was very well hidden.
