Nice roasted malt and chocolate aroma lots of sweet dark chocolates a hint of plum and touches of alcohol. Palate is nice thick well coated and lightly creamy. Flavor is very nice... very mellow almost riding the line of sweet stout and porter.. a ton of roasty malts, lots of dark chocolates and sweet lactose notes some real light plum. Very nice.. I am enjoying this guy.. and am I the only one who thinks baltic porters tend to be like imperial porters.. they always seem to be bigger and better :) mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 12, 2007 Pours a pitch black with a very thick tan head. Very creamy looking. Semi- modest odors in this one. Dark malts, chocolate, and slight smoke are detected in the nose. Pretty sweet for a porter. Dark fruit is present, which I was not expecting. More up front, but turns into chocolate and roasted malts towards the finish and in the aftertaste. I like the complexity in this beer. Its different, than alot of porters Ive had. kopher (305), New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Aroma of dark malt and a little dark fruit. Dark brown color transmits some ruby notes, and the tan head is vigorous and lasting. Starts with a dark fruit quickly followed by carbonation and then very strong toasted malt. The malt tends to compete with the hop. Interesting stuff. fonefan (11866), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Bottle. Pitch black colour with a nice big creamy brownish head. Aroma of chocolate, well roasted malts, dark lagered fruits and caramel. Flavour has a good roastiness and chocolate in the beginning, then more round and caramellic with a dry bitter roasty finish. The alcohol is really not all that noticeable. Great porter!
