Everything together creates a unique combination of taste. Production of this Porter was moved to Bracki Bowar in 2004 .

Bottle: Dark rown with a lovely light brown head. Aromas of alcohol, roasted nuts and brown sugar. Initially, there is a metallic trip to it, but then it subsides. It is a sweet porter and not as much of the charcoal (must be the Baltic). I like the thicker feel as opposed to the thin, oily feel of a standard porter. Great Polish brew. Could someone please give me a bratwurst?

(0.33L Bottle) Pours black with no head. Looks very similar to Coke. Aroma of alcohol and a bit of chocolate. Taste is of roasted, bitter coffee with a slightly alcoholic aftertaste. Rich and complex, and surprisingly not overly alcoholic tasting.

(Bottle BB 15/06/06) Aroma of roasted malty, coffee and light alcohol. Black colour and light brown, small size, rapidly almost fully diminishing head with fair lacing. Heavily roasted malty (almost burned), moderately bitter, licorice, coffee and fruity flavour. Softly carbonated, dry and light alcoholic (warming) palate. This is very delicious beer, which is a perfect late night drink! 13/05/06

This is a very strongly flavoured beer, to me tastes like cold coffee. Very bitter aftertaste. It’s just too bad that it didn’t taste as good as it looked.

Dark brown, thick and stable head. Aroma of dark bread but mostly of alcohol and organic solvents. Tastes like a bad coffee. Aggressive in the mouth, irritating bitterness. It’s a pity they can’t or don’t want to make Zywiec Porter what it was 20 years ago. I am surprised by the enthusiastic reviews it got here. They must send a different brew to the States.
