Bottle shared coutesy of egajdzis (thanks!). Poured a dark black with an average to larger sized tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, dark fruits, and light caramel. Tastes of light chocolate, dark fruits, roasted malts and light coffee. I never would have guessed this one was 9.5%. Medium bitter.

Bottle. Dark brown, tan head. Big roasted malty aroma, with a nice chocolate character. Thick malty flavors with a bitter roasted character and a bitter chocolate finish. Big and complex.

Nice dense head. Creamy on top and settles slowly. Milk chocolate aroma with plenty of roasted grains and a hint of vanilla. Color is black with a little brown around the edges. Nice and roasty flavor with a bit of dark fruit, mild coffee and a bit of smoke. Very little alcohol presence for a 9.5% brew. Little warming and tingling at the finish. Sort of dry. A little thinner bodied than I expected. A pretty good baltic porter but I expeced this to be a little sweeter as most baltic porters are.

Poured a black color, with some red around the edges, with a medium sized, creamy, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla beans, and light caramel malt. Taste of smoked malt, chocolate, roast, and oak. Finishes with dry fruits, and no alcohol at all. Awesome.

500 ml bottle. Rich brown, almost black with a dense, tan head. Aroma is rich in chocolate malts and grains with some grapes. The first thing I notice is how hoppy it is. Body is super smooth with a flavor of caramel covered dried fruits. Stick sweet and oily. Theres some smokiness to it as well but the finish is dry. A really good beer and my new favorite from, what country was that again? Oh yeah, Poland.

Very dark colored. Roasted malt aroma with coffee, peardrups and raisin. Full bodied. Malty flavor, in fact with loads of roasted malt. Raisin. Coffee bitterness. Warming alcohol that bangs your head after a 15 hours working day. Whoahhh, abundant with flavors. Great beer. My thanks go out to Dortmunderfor this bottle.
