(bottle) Almost black body with a big brown foamy head, slowly lacing. Molassy aroma with caramel, nuts and roasted malts. Medium to full bodied with a creamy texture. Mocha sweet flavour. Roastmalty taste with liquorice, turning into a long lasting bitterdry finish with notes of cold coffee and dark chocolate. What a gem ! The alcohol is almost not detectable.

Bottled. Pitch black colour. Even my halogen desk lamp couldnīt shine through it. Small brown head. Coffeish and bitter-chocolatey aroma with notes of dark fruits, mainly plums and berries. Initial flavour profile is a heavy bitter-chocolate flavour, roastmaltiness, as well as plums and raisins. Then a light sweetness and caramel. Ends bitter-chocolatey and leaves a strong aftertaste, thatīs somewhere between bitter-chocolate and medicine bitterness. But actually not bad. The only downside may be that itīs not exactly full-bodied, rather appearing a bit light, but also a bit fizzy, even after the beer sat for a while. Overall, a fruity, bitter baltic porter that is complex, yet not very demanding on the drinker. Thanks to moritzf for this long-wanted beer.

Light roasted nose, black color, big tan fluffy head. Medium toasted malt body, licorice sweetness, coffee bitter end - all subdued flavors but just a great balance and blend. Overall a great porter - NICE! Thanks, Ivan.

Yummi perfect present by Ivan - thanks a lot . Nearly black colored with a hazelnut brown medium frothy head on top. Nice malt and almond nose. Burnt coffee beans, almond and also roasted chocolate nibs taste. Medium long lasting with a pinch of alcohol hitting you at the end.

Very dark amber coloured, almost black as a polish priest’s garment, long lasting brown firm froth; big nose: sweetish, fruity, mainly malty (roasted malts, hints of smoked malts, tar(?), liquorice); very deep, complex intensive taste: begins sweet, a bit like a sweetened coffee, soon switching over to liquorice notes, ending dry with hints of bitter-chocolate; long lasting dryish aftertaste; full bodied with well hidden alcohol (9.5%), warming, moreish....... Wow: beautiful ! Dziekuje, MoritzF, get a new one............

Black color with a beige head. The taste is sweet with light coffee notes and roasted malts in the body. Very nice balanced and slight bitter palate.
