A pitch black beer with a huge chocolate brown head. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate, alcohol, blueberries and roasted malt. The flavor is great, roasted malt, lots of bitter chocolate, coffee, toffee, raisins, prunes, plums, slight notes of smoke, and hints of the alcohol on the palate and in the aftertaste where it blends well with the bitter notes from the roasted malt. A great beer.

33 cL bottle, thanks to Justyna for bringing me this. Pours dark brown with a little tan head. Dark roasted and mild chocolate aroma. Flavour is smooth chocolate and with a roasted malt note. Ends with a solid bitterness, slight burning note and a smooth chocolate note on top. Very drinkable baltic porter

Bottled, 1999(?) vintage. Near black, rich firm beige head.cSweet and rich, still a bit sugary. Lightly roasty, tarry and very salty. I don’t really think aging this beer does it very good - the hop character is probably all gone by now, but oh well, it was worth a shot...

Bottle. Dark red / black color with a average good lacing light brown head. Aroma is licorice, light malty, sweet. Initial flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Nice nad round, complex but still easy to drink...

Bottle, 9.5%. Sweet and roasted aroma. Black colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet, has a hint of metal. Roasted liquorice notes and a burning/warming alcohol finish. Why so much alcohol?

Dark brown colour with a small but lasting beige head, that makes laces. Fruity aroma with notes of alcohol and liquorice. Nice flavour with lots of liquorice and chocolate, and notes of alcohol and hops. Aftertaste of chocolate and hops. It’s a bit amazing, that this good porter is cheaper than most other porters in Denmark.
