McAuliffe, Jack

Jack McAuliffe created, owned and was head brewer at New Albion Brewing Company in Sonoma, California. Although the brewery did not last more than a few years, McAuliffe proved a small scale operational brewery could be constructed by a single man, and inspired other small brewers in Northern California and along the upper West Coast to start their own breweries. Along with Fritz Maytag, McAuliffe is thought of as inspiring the worldwide Craft Beer Movement.
