Details
The Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival in the superb grounds of Nottingham Castle, brings together the widest range of real ales ever seen in the UK and probably the world! Last year’s festival offered a staggering choice of 616 different casks of real ale and this year we plan to beat that figure. As well as a massive array of golden ales, fruit beers, stouts, bitters, porters and barley wines we also offer a wide selection of traditional ciders and perries plus an assortment of country wines.
There’s live entertainment each evening, and Saturday afternoon, on the magnificent Victorian bandstand where there is a separate beer tent to slake your thirst. Or if you prefer a quieter time, there is no amplified music in the large main marquee - or why not wander outside and take in the marvellous panoramic views of the city?
Cost: £10 (incl glass tankard) http://www.nottinghamcamra.org
