[Disclaimer: I consider Tim Schwartz a friend and I am after all a Texan, so..] |
I remember back in the day, Brad calling every other week asking what I needed and would load up his pickup and drive up for delivery. I saw him recently and he laughed about brewing all day into the night, sleeping a few hours on the malt bags, then hitting the road at sunup to get all of us in DFW his beer. |

They continue to grow and each time I have visited, select employees were sampling what I believe were variations on their beers for analysis, criticism and deciding what if any changes to make. That and Tim showing the crew I was with other plans for expansion. |
one of the best |
I remember how it was a major point of pride for places in Austin to have Fireman’s #4 way back when. |

Originally posted by joet Yes, Tim brewed legendary beers there. Brian Peters (Now with ABGB) did as well and my long time beer compatriot Doug brewed there also. |
Yeah, Bitter End and Waterloo were the 1 & 2 stops in Austin back in the day. It’s amazing how much downtown Austin has changed since then. |
