We are organizing a toast for this evening at 7:00 pm for beer writer Bill Brand who was hit by a Muni train last night after leaving Sean Paxton’s beer dinner at the 21st Amendment.

Man, I hope he comes out of it alright. I’ve never met him, but I’ve become a fan of his site and writing for sure. I’ll be here at 7pm PT to show support.

Sorry to hear about his accident. Crazy Dave introduced me to him a couple years ago at the GABF. Seemed like a great guy.
