INALLY! I heard Cigar City was coming to PA. I picked a bottle of the Bolita Brown and the Marshal Zhukov’s Cedar Aged Imperial Stout at Capone’s today. I think Capone’s is having the two mentioned above and the India Brown on tap next Thursday. We have access to some great beer here in PA.

The Impy was likely Marshal Zhukov’s. The cedar aged one isn’t out just yet.

How much do they sell for in PA?

I think they were $16.00 a piece at the bottle shop. As soon as this becomes a regualr thing (probably 2010), I will pick up case.

Matt Capone’s email said it was the Cedar aged one, but you could be right. And he listed that one at $18.

Blue Dog in Chalfont had some also. Running around $18 a bomber.

If it will be on draft maybe the email is right. That would be very cool.
To my knowledge it hasn’t been released in bottle format.

I’m jealous you get the beer, but at that price I would only buy one bottle, just to try it, and I’d probably even try to split that cost and share the bottle. That makes $30 for Black Tuesday seem like a bargain.

There was no Humidor Series Imperial Stout sent up. Just Zhukov’s.

That’s a steep markup in PA. I obtained a Zukov from a Fla trader for $10...

$10 is certainly more reasonable, but Bells Expedition @ $15/6pack is my go to imperial stout. When I need something barrel-aged I go for the Goose Island Bourbon County. On par with if not better than most of the small batch rare releases from other breweries that I’ve tried.
Anyway, don’t mean to derail the thread. Glad to see Cigar City expanding their distribution (and hopefully production). They make some great stuff.
