Coming to Japan

Hey guys, I’m gonna be in Tokyo for about 5 weeks this upcoming Summer. I’ll be teaching a course for my college in Tokyo in Yotsuya. I’ll have a room near there (possibly in a bizarre hotel near the Tokyo Dome called the China Friendship center) but I’ll be staying mostly in Adachi with my in-laws. My wife and two kids are coming as well. I have not been back in years, so it will be great fun.
And I’m gonna tick the hell out of some Japanese beer! My work is covering food and other costs, so beer will be my main expense. Haha.

It will be good to see you and since you last were in Japan things have changed a lot. Too bad you are here in the summer time though, least enjoyable season. There is always lots of festivals, etc, so undoubtably you will get lots of chances to tick. Let us know your dates closer to your arrival.

Yeah, I didn’t want to come in the Summer but it’s the only way. I’ll be in Tokyo from about June 18 to the end of July. I will be visiting Kyoto and Hiroshima for sure as well as being based in Tokyo.

Hit me up with any beer requests. I will be bringing some good stuff with me to share of course. Portland has a lot to like. I’ll probably bring some HOTD for sure. Not sure what you guys get. I’m going to be in Japan around June 20th till July 20th or so. I’m also planning a short 2 day trip to Hong Kong I think.

Awesome. I’ll be in Kyoto for 3 days I think. I’ll let you know when I have dates. I think we’re staying at a Ryokan so I’ll be trying to get away from my students. Haha.
