As much as I hate to admit I actually watched the movie (and it was even worse than I expected it to be), Clipper City signs and beer made several appearances in "He’s Just Not That Into You". 10/21/2009 7:22:48 AM

They didn’t make as much of the beer scene in Belgium as I had hoped and didn’t visit any of the "must visit" Brugge bars either. In fact it was quite disparaging about craft beers, calling them poncy or some such adjective.

I believe the quote was: One gay beer for my gay friend, one normal beer for me because I am normal.

For the record, they’ve headed out from England, so it’s not like he’s asking for Miller Lite. Plus, it was hilarious how Colin Farrel’s character disparaged everything about Bruges.

I agree, and Leffe is not that impressive, is it?

Stone and Abita were both in "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell". Seems like there were others but I forgot what, it may have just been the beer signs in the background. 10/24/2009 3:55:53 PM
