Is it worth someone who can speak Dutch calling the hotel and seeing if they could let us have a meeting room to do a tasting? I don’t know how many of us there will be, but if we all contributed €5-10 each, would they be willing to supply a room, some glasses, some water and be prepared to clear up afterwards?

I haven’t got a clue how you guys will still be able to do an after tasting with that beerlist . Better make it a saturday morning tasting , if you will be up for it by then.
We will be bringing some Mano Negra and Gaspar as well. And maybe one more

I am Dutch, staying at the Tulip, and very happy to call the hotel tomorrow (on Wednesday.) But I wonder if it would make more sense to ask if Menno (the brewer) will let RB members stay after hours, or if there’s a pub to decamp to.
I’m just thinking that a business hotel isn’t exactly waiting to host an international beer tasting after we’ve already been drinking for 10 hours straight--but I’d be happy to enquire about their house bar and possible corkage fees... The good thing is we have time on our side.

Id be all for making it Saturday Morning.
Esp if we could get Demolen for a few hours, if we all promice to help tidy up friday night :-)
My plan was a few on Fri night before bed , but it seems to have Grown. :-)
Its gonna be a BLAST.
The festival line up is a DREAM. The only think missing for me is De Struise Double Black. But I think Every brewer thats there has at least 1 im really looking forward to, and most of them have 3 or 4

Earlier is fine by me. I can be there at 10 no problem and will have Westvleteren and De Molen with me. Can also bring more NL/BE treats on demand.
