In Denver for a few days. So many brewpubs! Any advice on good ones besides the obviously well known ones? I've been to a few and noticed huge variation on beer quality. I like Baere and Jagged Mountain but had a few bad ones as well at other places. I'm here for a couple more days. |
I am paying close attention here. I'm heading to Denver tomorrow and will be there until Friday (leaving midday or so). |
I'd highly recommend Bierstadt and Hogshead. Hogshead is traditional English style beer, mostly on proper cask conditioning. Bierstadt is almost all lagers done very very well. |
Black Project is up and coming, if you're into sour. Hear a lot of great things about TRVE as well. |
If you are here Wednesday night let me know if you want to meet up and blow through some brewpubs Leighton. I've been to a few now but there are so many, and the booze and $$ adds up without a partner in crime. |
Or anyone else for that matter. |
I'll second trve. Good beers and atmosphere. |
Come to Ratman's 15K celebration at Strange. They're tapping his special beer at 3:00 on Wednesday. I'm planning to be there, and it sounds like there will be a pretty good collection of ratebeerians there. |
Four Noses ...fully biased endorsement |

Not been for a while, but Hogshead, Trve and Black Sky I enjoyed of the somewhat lesser known. |
