Essen to Leipzig Sat Sun

A long car ride ahead of us. Any good local places not far from the Autobahn that we should check out?

If you take the A2 via Hannover, https://www.ratebeer.com/p/rupp-brau-brauhaus-felsenkeller/8253/ is a nice brewpub (but sadly only expensive growlers for take-away) - but A44/A7/A38 via Kassel is 30 min faster (we talked about this ;) ).
Drove this many times and not really a place really worth stopping for good/interesting beer there...
