List has been updated again and is pretty much the final list

USA cask list is pretty impresive

but the bottle list is pretty much stuff thats been available recently in the UK.

And i didnt see any Bottles crying out to be bought, Which is a shame as there were near a dozen Excelent beers last year.

Looks like there’s a new De Ranke in there plus a pretty new Alvinne.

I recognize a lot of the names, but there are also a lot of new beers from brewers that were there last year. Pretty good line-up altogether. I’ll need to be behind the bar and plan a break when Angels Share is on evil grin 7/13/2008 3:58:42 PM

Lets hops the DFH 90 Minute cask actually survives the journey this year. I’ve waited nearly 2 years to have it again.

To be honest with that and De Ranke XX Bitter, I might not have another beer in 4 days (only kidding).

Yeah the Cask list all round is pretty amazing.
I guess i just got lucky with bottles to take home last year.
This year theres a few but last year there were about 30 i wanted, about 15 of which are here again this year, and only 1 or 2 others that might be interesting. Maybe i should take a closser look.

But Cask wise, im gonna have a great time

I’m quite excited about it as well, but then I’m just quite excited about the whole thing.

I think Christian also mentioned Angels share in an earlier post.

I’m being lazy and haven’t bothered checking but I wonder when the full UK cask list will be available? Does anyone know?

Just the list of UK breweries for the time being

http://www.camra.org.uk/page.aspx?o=breweries

Compared with last year, I guess the excitement is a little down as we had the Kaggen, the Hommage and Dark Horizon along with Stone Ruination DIPA on cask as well last year. However, the US cask list is still strong and I will be hacking my way through it on the first day enjoying as many hops as they want to throw at me. Plus there are some Germans I would like to have too.

As for the UK, I’m a little disappointed that Oakham’s don’t have a brewery bar as I love their beers. There will still be more beer and more new beers than I will have the ability to try. Which I guess then throws up the question we get every year. GBBF is definitely worth going to, but it isn’t the best.
