What I’m wondering is why nobody’s yet bitched about it being 2 oz less than two bottles, but about $3 more now.

i don’t know. chicago tends to be last place to get beers from out of state so why not be the last to get beers in state. perhaps it’s all the pay to play shit that takes longer to work out and get the brews on the shelf.

I was about to post the same thing but deleted it after I wrote it. This is among my favorite bourbon-barrel-aged Imperial Stouts, so I’m pretty unhappy about the switch as well as the deception (in regards to packaging it in 22 oz. form and charging considerably MORE for LESS beer) on Goose Island’s part.
Don’t know when the last time I drank a bomber of 13% Imperial Stout, so I won’t be buying more than one bottle. I would have purchased a case of 12 oz. bottles (if this batch is a stellar one).

So is this going to be available in 12oz four packs this year in addition to the bombers?

I was in St. Louis last weekend and saw Matilda in both 22 oz. bombers and 4 packs of 12 oz. bottles. so I’m going to guess BCS will be available ( at least in most areas ) in both sizes as well.
