As this concerns a couple of beers though I'd post here.

So if I understand correctly, since Hiver has been set up as a seperate brewery and the older Hepworth Hovers have been aliased to the new Hiver the Honey Beer:

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/hepworth/1265/

However I had the Honey Beer today and the previous rating made me realise that it's now 4.5% rather than the previous 5%. So a 10% reduction. Also it's now a pilsener according to EeBria?

https://www.eebriatrade.com/products/beer/hiver-beers/5255-hiver-the-honey-blonde-beer

Can I suggest that as well as the ABV being updated, that the older Hivers are retired and older ratings returned them?

I'll look into this tomorrow.

10% means little. ... we tend to look at 15% in the UK in terms of an abv change and thats a marker not a given .

Ach, thought this might get me a couple more West Sussex ticks (or rather, rates) but I've been foiled by the contract brewing rule...

As I was posting I was suspicious of the 10%.

Yes. .. they set up their own base in london earlier this year ...I've visited myself, North end of bermondsey arches nearest London Bridge so now claased as a G London brewer.

I agree, some cleanup probably needed, at least the aliases. I noticed this myself when ticks were merged as coincidentally I have one bugged and it relates to Hiver.

Firstly... https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hiver-the-honey-beer/412389/ is aliased to https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hiver-the-honey-beer/369975/ which in turn is then aliased to https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hepworth-hiver-the-honey-ale/527218/
At least one of them can be deleted surely? I presume something got messed up here when their own brewery page was added, I can't think of any real reason to chain them like that.
Also, it's not even aliased to the correct beer as it's going to the "ale" version when it should go to the "beer" version here: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hiver-the-honey-beer/527215/

Secondly this alias seems a bit useless too: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hepworth-hiver/229245/
as all the Hiver beers have names like "Honey Beer", "Honey Ale", "Honey IPA" etc. there isn't one just called "Hiver" on its own. And searching "Hepworth Hiver" on its own would match all of the possible entries a user might want to find anyway, so having that alias seems superfluous.

Right ... think I've tidied that up.
