’m sometimes having trouble finding the original breweries of own brand beers sold by big retailers (Sainsbury’s and Marks&Spencer) for example. Please provide me with some general tips... Customer service can be reluctant to provide brewer information. Any way to work around that? So far google has been a good friend. Thanks!

Its a long and painful process. Like iv searched for some things and even called a few places and they’ve just said "we dont know where we make our beer".

I suspect that this is probably due to lack of communication at the business. Ask the retail representative if they can "contact their beer distributor to get the name of the brewery."

dunkeylips 0:0 Stay away frow the distributor. They have enough to deal with. Just google it like the rest of us do. That is why the interweb was invented by Al Gore.

I always Google everything. And check RateBeer. And the brewery’s site. And those other beer sites. Sometimes I contact the brewery direct. Once in a while I ask the distributor...

...gotta show the distributor my love. love love love Can’t have them feeling left out or anything. amotivational syndrome
