Iceland and Faroe Islands this summer (August)

Hey you all.
This summer i’m going to visit Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
We will travel from Reykjavik, to Akureyri, Egilsstaðir, Höfn, Vík í Mýrdal and back to Reykjavik.
And in the Faroe Islands we have our hotel in Miðvágur and we will make trips to Tórshavn, Klaksvík etc.

I am still not sure i have hold luggage to Iceland so if i have i will be able to bring local beer from The Netherlands, so are there any Ratebeer users in Iceland? or the Faroer islands who would like to meet me and maybe trade some stuff (if i have hold luggage.)

And are there any recommendations in the locations i did (or did not) mention?

The dates:
29 july - 8 august Iceland
9 - 15 august Faroer Islands
16 august Iceland (Reykjavik again)

So just to bump this one a tiny bit, in 5 days i will leave for Iceland, if anyone is interested in some local ticks i can take a few bottles with me in the hold luggage.

Too bad the Icelandic guys didnt message me back, maybe they will see it now?
If someone has another tip for these two countries im still open for idea’s...

And try the one made with the testicles of endangered whales, smoked with sheep shit. It will likely taste better than any Dutch beer made that way.

I have been to Faroe for 6 days now.
Only special beers are those from Okkara, had a small tour at the brewery, prebooked.
Faroe Islands is not a beer destination

In any case, you should bring some beers from Iceland and Faroe islands back.
