ny news on this? I know Lost Abbey is officially brewing it, but is this going to be a beer distributed by LA, RR DFH Avery? I’m hoping that they shoot some bottles to DFH and Avery so people outside of southern California can actually get this beer.

I hope it makes it East as well but I have a fear it will fall into distribution of other Lost Abbey beers and may not make it far outside of the brewery or online sales. We will see.
I had read / heard many months back that at one point there was going to be essentially 6 different beers (1 overall blend from all 5 brewers involved and then 5 beers that were more of a representation of what each brewery brought to the beer. that would be one hell of a 6 pack but I don’t think that is what the final product is going to be like. One can hope though.

Is there any chance this would be the July Sinners release?

Linky.
"Arthur confirmed today, as rumored, that Isabelle Proximus will be a sour ale and that less than 400 cases were produced. It will also be on-hand at “the Craft Brewers Conference and World Beer Championships in San Diego this month” according to Keith Johnsen, Director for Michael Jackson’s Rare Beer Club. The beer will be available for limited release at the brewery around that time though Arthur was unable to say whether there would be any left over to distribute elsewhere."

That article is a bit old. As of May 3rd, Tomme said *he* didn’t even know for sure yet how they were going to handle the distribution/sale of this beer. But since it is planned to be released "some time in June," I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been in talks about it for the past week, or are making a decision any. day. now.
But yeah, upwards of around 400 cases of 750 mL bottles (12 to a case). I haven’t heard a price on it yet, but considering the quantity, I’d say this shouldn’t be *that* hard to come by. It will certainly make the rounds.

Tomme mentioned the same thing to me last time we talked about it. It was still a bit up in the air as to the distribution and he wasn’t sure what was happening just yet.

Well, I’ve always been one to agree with that solid line of reasoning!

Updated with a new article today. Tomme made a blog post yesterday saying that the beer would be available late June now. Still could change..such is the industry.
