They even have a beer week, highlighting "local" craft breweries: http://www.visitstockton.org/dining/stockton-beer-week I thought it was odd that Tracy (population 82,000) was breweryless, until I stumbled across Stockton.

Message bb beers 17048 º places 16 º 17:41 Tue 6/23/2015 Has anyone mentioned that old-timer Savetheales (Guy) has moved on from Russian River and is now brewing the beers for Whole Foods San Jose (Mission Creek)? I just heard this is a must stop if in the area by people who don’t know Guy. And Guy - if you see this - congrats!

Their single hop series is stellar to say the least.
