almost certainly the 17th October |
Originally posted by cgarvieuk Hi Craig, just an FYI, as 17-Oct-2017 is a Tuesday the Fermentaria will open at 12:00pm, but the Brew Cafe does not open until 4:00pm. I think I should be able to meet you there by 3:00pm to treat you to some beers, It is the least I can do since you were so hospitable a few years back. Please beer mail me when the date gets closer to confirm. |
Yeah was gonna do Monday then realised Monday was bad so moved to tue. Will do tourist stuff for a bit. Probably aiming for about 3 at fermentaria, then onto brew cafe. But will definitely shout nearer time. |
are both worth doing? or should i do 1 and somewhere else? |
Originally posted by cgarvieuk I would probably do both the Brew Cafe & the Fermentaria. The General Store is located next to the Brew for bottles, cans & swag. |
cool that was my feeling. |
Originally posted by cgarvieuk I will be at Fermentaria by 3:00pm on Tuesday 17-Oct. Dinic's in the Reading Terminal Market has the best roast pork sandwich in the city. http://tommydinics.com. I recommend it with Italian long hots and sharp provolone. If you want a Hoagie (Italian sliced meats in a sandwich) check out Primo Hoagies Old City. https://www.primohoagies.com. If you want a Cheesesteak, Sonny's is great. https://www.sonnyscheesesteaks.com. All places are not far from the Liberty Bell. |
Excellent thanks. it was teh cheesesteak i had in mind. |
