I never knew TV investment pundit had asserted beer was one of two critical components to the US economy: http://bit.ly/2hO63Xq.

Don't you still have a fair US ownership of the movie and entertainment industry? (Sure, Sony has grabbed a slice, but 21CF's foreign roots are all but academic now, it's a US corporation.) Movies/sports and beer go hand in hand, so kick back and support your US corps on two fronts. May as well have some Finlandia vodka or BenRiach whisky, they're US owned too (same owners as Jack Daniels).

Does anyone know how much of each dollar spent on an (American, non-imported) ABInBev beer actually stays in America, and how much leeches out to HQ in Belgium? I know that our local big brands are effectively sending >90% of the locally-generated profit to Denmark or wherever, so buying a big-name local brand does bugger all for anyone local.
