Ok..well we have more people than expected....14 total...about the same number we had last time. I was hoping we could not have the swap last as long.
Ok here is who we have..an awesome group....username followed by trades. And i think every one has 100% perfect trade rating..hot damn what a grouP!

If we do every 3 weeks, then it would take 10 1/2 months altogether.
So let’s all vote on it. 14 shippers does mean that when your turn comes around...you get beer from 14 ratebeerians..that is a LOT of beer!!!!! 
It also means though you have to ship beer to someone every 3 weeks for almost a year. 
So everyone on the list, one vote please...
14 people, $20 each shipment, for 10 1/2 months. Or
14 people, $25 each shipment, for 10 1/2 months. Or
8 people $25 each shipment for 5 1/2 months...

im not sure this would work for everyone, including me, but what about if we ship to 2 people every 3 weeks and finish in half the time. i think i could handle to $20 boxes every 3 weeks.
just throwing out the idea.

Not a bad idea..except it can get to be too much for people $$-wise. We actually had a couple good traders get into trouble on this last swap because they had financial issues and got weeks behind. I think eventually caught up and made good on it, but want to try to keep it as affordable as possible for people....
I think $20-$25 every 3 weeks is do-able..but $40 can put a strain on people..even if they don;t think so now...

yea that is what i was thinking just thought i would throw it out there. i just remembered getting into some trouble sending stuff out last time due to hurricanes and rain. which is making me think twice now with the season being right in the middle of the trading.

Last two of three swaps, i THINK we did every 2 weeks..i am thinking every 3 weeks will give people a little extra cushion to shop and get things sent out on time. Seemed to work a lot better the one time we did do every 3 weeks...

Assuming we add 2 more and do 2 separate swaps so everyone gets in. If not, I can bail out so someone can take my place if I was one of the first 8 to respond.

I like the idea of 8 people. 5.5 months. 10 months could easily stretch into a full year or more.

Personally I would prefer a smaller trade but since I would probably be one of the ones cut from the swap...I would prefer the 14 person $20 swap.
I think 3 weeks is a good time frame either way, as it takes about 1 week to decide what beer to send and purchase, then some time to package and ship, plus 1 week to get to the sender, with just a touch of breathing room! 2 weeks is too short I think. And I think sending 2 boxes every 3 weeks would get taxing as well.
