recipe is just a frame of what the general idea is, you then progress and make your own idea and decide what you want from the food

Agreed. I have taught myself to do a lot of things, one of which is cooking at a pretty advanced level. Good luck!

I thought it was ketch some crawdads, shooting a squirrel is for the (not-so)white trash version of Cajun.

By the way, almost every Cajun recipe I have tried has turned out great. To really wow her, make a jambalaya.
