I just hope it goes to a company that wants to make it and not just have the name in there line-up.J.W. Lees might be a good choice or Samuel Smith another. There are more than a few American breweries that would do this fine brew justice as well.

I can sympathize with that view. Certainly Fullers make a few good beers, ones that are THEIR type of beer & still practical within their large, efficient operation. But this does not mean Fullers can evoke the particular "coolness" or fiddling-around patience something as specific as TH may require...
O’Hanlon’s is, by contrast relatively small. They probably put a hell of a lot of effort into a very small output, for just nominal profit, and good for them too.
Speaking of this brewery, let’s give O’Hanlon’s a big show of appreciation for doing their best in making a well-loved version of Thomas Hardy Ale for six years.

I have 2005, 6, 8.
Hope someone keeps the tradition alive. Not a Bigfoot but I like the Alfred Hitchcock errr Thomas Hardy medallions.

My ugly mother fucker comment was a comeback to Cobra’s ugly mother fucker comment to me from about two years ago I think. Funnier though is the fact that I don’t remember posting it whatsoever--I was hammered that night. I can’t believe that I took the high road for 2 years only to screw that up in one night of drunk posting.

Perhaps the expert brewers here can take a stab at it.
