If I don’t have to work, I’ll be coming. What is the info on it? I don’t see in entered as an event yet.
I see that it’s Saturday, Dec. 5th. VIP people can come in @ 1pm. When does everybody else come in?
How long does it last? Which PP is it?

Ah, thanks. That original link brings up confusion, but I figured it out with this one.
"Includes a commemorative logo glass, 8 taster tickets and allows you to get in early at 1pm on Friday, December 5th 5th to start tasting before the general public comes in. As always, no actual "tickets" are sent to you! Your name will be on the VIP list at the admission door so please bring your valid I.D. for entry! You must be at least 21 years of age and able to drink responsibly! Cheers!"
So you get in early on Friday, December 4th by 3 hours. You don’t get jack the next day. Is it even worth going to on Saturday, or is most of the rockin’ stuff gone?
So if I wanted to go both days, it’d be $40 for Friday (with the VIP thing), and then $30 for Saturday?

$40 for vip both days
$30 for both days without VIP.
This will be my 3rd year in a row going and VIP has always had excellent additional brews that have been more than worth $10.

Sweet. So what time to you get in on Saturday, if the fest officially starts at 11?
So it is a total of $40? So you could almost break it down to $20 a day, or if I did VIP both days it would be $80?

Also the big difference is that with all of the PP Fests they can get crowded, and Saturday is always way more crowded than Friday. If you can get a day off work you’ll have more fun and be more relaxed on Friday than on Saturday.

I’m in. One of the "not to miss" fests in the country.

The event is at Pizza Port-Carlsbad, in the "festival area" behind their Bottle Shop next door.
Joey, you pay for one admission, which gets you in both days. The VIP thing "only" gets you in early on Friday, which means you can drink in a more relaxed environment before the masses get in and have right of first refusal for everything they’ll have. I’d say it’s usually worth it, if you can get the time off work with no problem. But it’s hardly necessary. There are PLENTY of opportunities to indulge, and last year’s regular festival list read like a "VIP" list anyway.
So it’s $40 for the VIP thing (and you get in at the regular time on Saturday-- the VIP thing affords you no benefit as compared to the "regular" attendees on Saturday), or $30 for the non-VIP thing. Both are sterling deals, as it’s a great festival with a ton of great beers.
