Totally up to you, but I usually put "From notes." At the start of any ratings that aren’t entered at the time of consumption. |
Welcome! I joined in June of 2013 and then never logged back in until December of 2013 and had already had some 250+ beers on BrewGene and so I spent an entire weekend entering all those beers over a couple days before 2014 got here. |
Welcome and if you’re in or near the Valley (Winchester, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Lexington), let’s get together sometime. |
welcome to ratebeer. |
Unfortunately I started rating at the other site before I started regularly writing reviews, and this site makes on write a review, so some my reviews are pretty pathetic. |

well, that’s done. whew. |
The firm number of freshly entered +4.0 ratings anchors you firmly in the positive-minded/enthusiastic/discerning/not-yet-disenchanted category of Ratebeerians. |
I recently rated beers from my backlog from as far back as 1989... As long as the beer is still available. And yes, I always write something like "From backlog", or "From old notes" etc. |
It will take some getting used to the rating levels, and the different algorithm here - that may be why when I transferred my ratings over they come off so high - though I am mostly a positive sort - unless I actually dislike a beer, I tend to not rate it below 3.5. Even beers which I did dislike, but could get some enjoyment out of, I rated in the 2’s. |
