Something this winter in Orlando. YES.

Late February - early March. It won’t be SG caliber, we just don’t have the artillery down here in terms of brewery spots. The GT is really the highlight anyway. So a few stops over in Tampa, RedLight in Orlando for a nightcap, and the GT the next day. Just a rough outline, but we’ll have something put together. Know that.

I’ll probably hit this over NY, honestly.

NYC get’s my vote! I am sure EDA and the NY/NJ crew would put together a heck of a summer gathering. 7/28/2009 5:10:32 PM

Wouldn’t take much convincing for me to hop on a plane to NY. 7/28/2009 5:12:14 PM

They’ll be months apart, shoot for boththumbs up

I’ll be down for NY or Philly or Atlanta next summer, assuming the timing works out.

New York or somewhere in New England would be good. It’s been way too long since I’ve canvased that area. Doing it the weekend before or after the Burlington fest would be ideal.

Asheville would be cool. Travel would be a bitch as you would have to catch an expensive connecting flight to get to a small airport to rent a car and drive for a couple of hours or get a cheaper flight to Atlanta and drive four hours.

Atlanta won’t happen. Not enough draw brewery wise to come to Atlanta and not enough locals to host it.

Mike changed my view of NY RBSG. NY city wont have much draw brewery wise either but there are enough breweries to visit. The tickers will enjoy it and it will be something new for out of towners. You could do a nice brewery crawl on a Friday or Saturday and fill the other times with bars and beer shopping.

However, it could be a very good RBSG otherwise. Plus, people can really do personal stuff and just meet up here or there.

But I would like to see some competition, anyone else looking to do it? Is Philly tired out? We have no Boston crew. What’s that leave Cleveland and D.C.?

I nominate my back yard. Enough room for parking, 2 fridges and a 2 door keg fridge. Also 3 bbqs and a stereo with lots of outdoor bathroom space. 3 day grand tasting. Anyone?
