Does anybody know the difference between the ones with no label (only a card attached) and the ones covered in a red label? Just different batches?

From what I have seen:
Unlabeled version - 2013 or older
Labeled version - 2014 and newer
But I have seen white plastic labels (in the style of Rodenbach Vintage) and also black/red paper labels of Caractere Rouge, as well.

The first two batches only had the card but the card and the top of the cage are different if I remember correctly. Will have to go look up some pictures. Also, I believe the first batch had real fruit and was limited to a few hundred bottles for a restaurant while the subsequent batches were made on a larger scale (and I'm assuming with syrup similar to Alexander or Redbach).

I Believe at a certain point the labeled ones were for US import, whilst the Belgian ones had the necklabel. I expect the newer editions over here in Belgium also to have a label now, since marketing seemingly decided to make every rodenbach look bad...
