Please do research, but if you can't find a person's place to leave your car, I think you may be able to pull off leaving your car at a Metro station overnight, even if you actually don't take the metro.

Looked in to this, what I'm able to do is park at the Anacostia station for 24 hours...so I figure I'll get there around 10:30 and take the Green line one stop to Navy Yard.
