ast night I learned Pannepot and fried pickles DO NOT pair well at all. Does anyone else have any unfortunately bad examples of bad beer/food pairings?

Fried pickles are very good with a nice pilsner or altbier.

I had a few gueuse lambics with some Middle Eastern food from Alladdins (namely a sfiah(?) and stuffed grape leaves) and they did not like each other and staged a battle of Good vs. Evil in my stomache. 5/17/2008 9:55:22 PM

Cantillon Kriek and spaghetti (with tomato sauce) didn’t work at all. I didn’t expect a good pairing, but I didn’t expect not to be able to drink the beer till I was done eating! 5/17/2008 11:19:19 PM
