Bessemer’s first steelworks opened in Sheffield in 1859, sixteen years before Carnegie began steelmaking in Pittsburgh.

Oh I don’t doubt that one bit; I figured Steel City moniker of Sheffield preceded that of Pittsburgh. I just had a good chuckle thinking of Gazza in Pittsburgh.

By the way, best wishes to Dave and Gazza with their new venture.

I very much hope that Scoopergen won’t suffer as a result.

Yes, all the best Gazza & Dave. I’m looking forward to rating some big hoppy numbers. 9/8/2009 12:39:25 PM

I wonder if they have a rugby or soccer team called the steelers?

Craig, you’re welcome to come down for quality control any time - lots of pale hoppy beers, just how you like them wink

December beer will be a stout, I’m guessing you don’t wanna try that...
