We have agreed distribution through Boggart wholesale, so anyone wanting some daaahn saaf should contact them in the first instance
and more surreally, I’m checking out hold luggage restrictions to see if I can deliver a pin or two to Mr Hall next time I’m in New York...

He gets everywhere. He did promise me that he would start rating on this site. I am hoping to get to Oxford Beer Fest on the Friday night, so hopefully it will still be on.

I may just tempt myself with an early lunch, then. Are you having an ’official’ launch time or is it just turn up and get pished?

Not sure how I’ve missed this thread up to now.
Best of luck with this venture. Someone who thinks they know a thing or two about beer in this country once said there’s no market for extreme beers.
Well I beg to differ as breweries like BrewDog and Thornbridge prove and sales of US stuff at BSF and the likes of The Rake and Utobeer testify.
We need stuff that isn’t boring and brown so thanks for brewing them, and soon we will be able to add Steel City to the above list.
I will be at Oxford on Saturday - really hope there’s some of your stuff left.

now then
today’s the day...
myself and Gazza had a sneak preview last night, we’re pretty pleased with the result. plenty of bitterness, plenty of hop aroma and flavour (citrus all the way), but still (dare I say it) balanced (by my standards anyway). not quite as intense as planned, due to a minor miscalculation resulting in 10% more beer and hence 10% less ABV and IBU
all present and correct at Oxford fest for tomoro too...
of course, under ratebeer rules they count as Brew Co beers cos we used their plant. however, think I can safely say it’s not like anything Pete’s ever done (though I do rate his beers as among the best in Sheffield, and he’s getting quite adventurous with his one-offs!).
and, under one of ratebeer’s more ludicrous rules, Bez Sucheho Chmele and Hop Manifesto presumably count as one rate as one is t’other without dry hop. Life of Brian is Hop Manifesto with lemon zest (5 lemons per cask), not sure where the rules stand on that...
cheers
