F embodies the strongest characters from the Midwest IPA. It is malt heavy, yet hop forward. It comes in a can. It tastes great, and is bitter, refreshing and has some malty strangeness.

i think Surly is a great brewery sadly i have only had 3 beers from them. adn i cant believe that Bender is not rated higher. if there is a better brown ale i would love to try it.

Threadjacking here, but I recently did a side by side with a fresh Two Hearted and Sweetwater IPA and was impressed at how well the SW held up. Two Hearted is more balanced, but SW has more grapefruit notes IMO, which is my favorite part of an IPA. Both are awesome, and I wish I could get Two Hearted in GA....and I’d LOVE to be able to get it in the mini keg.

Two Hearted is a seriously solid IPA, but deserves to be had alone... every time I put it up against a good multi-hop IPA it comes up short. You almost have to treat multi-hopped and single-hopped IPAs separately, but as far as single-hopped goes, Two Hearted is the best I’ve ever had.

Sorry, I’d take Goose Island IPA or New Glarus Hop Hearty any and everyday of the week over Furious.
