"Finally, we have decided to activate a web shop on our site. Do not get us wrong, it is not our goal to start a fierce concurrence with every legal commerce, who are spending time and energy to sell our brands. It is more of a reference shop, where everyone interested, can have a look to see what the exact price of our brands are instead of paying many times the real value elsewhere. And if one is forced to do so, this due to circumstances, our shop will be happy to ship beers around the globe. This to make a halt to whatever is called piracy!"

I am confused by this statement for the Struise web store. It sounds like it’s not selling beer, just listing prices for pricechecking, but other lines allude to shipping and selling...

What is wrong with the above statement or what would you like us to change? We are a bunch of Flemish amateurs who like to brew good beers but we do not pretend to have our English grammar totally under control. All help is welcome, thank you for your ideas. cheers, Urbain 1/5/2009 8:24:32 PM

It seems pretty clear that they are selling some of their beers but they are not trying to turn the webshop into a huge money making operation but rather an outlet for us to buy their beers if you think the prices you pay other places are too high. 1/5/2009 9:27:39 PM

Seriously, don’t be too concerned with English Grammar; no one in the U.S. seems to be anymore. I can honestly say that every statement any of the Struise brewers has posted on this site is just as, if not more intelligible than anything written by your average American high-school student.
