Yep. 6 at the Standing Order. Same at the Booking Office. Even worse at the Caley Picture House. |
Originally posted by imdownthepub I'm always amused by the difference in pint prices in Spoons. You can hit 4 in Edinburgh within a 10 minute walk and there's a variance of around 40-50p per pint. |
Originally posted by Stuu666 The Beer Festival beers are advertised at £2:05 per pint during the time of the festival except on a Monday when everything is £1:99 in ours. |
Visited my local one last night, eight festival beers on plus a new (to me) Salopian one. All in good condition, but nothing to get excited about, plus the eight were all from counties I have plenty of rates from except the Vale offering from Bucks and the Maxim Azacca which I had to take back as it had 'gone', so no rate for that. |
Originally posted by BlackHaddock Bargain shire prices ... think it was £3.45 at the Willow Walk last Friday IIRC. |
Assuming Storm Brian doesn't hit the south east too hard, I will be in London doing as many Spoons as is necessary to pick up the 19 I have left to try. |
OK, so it looks like the apocalyptic weather warnings are a little over exaggerated. |
Sat at Ashford International station waiting for my train to St Pancras to start yet another epic hunt for all the JDW festival beers |
I have done this trip many times but i am doing something slightly different this time. Instead of cycling i will be using the Circle Line mostly to move from pub to pub. |
