Yep. 6 at the Standing Order. Same at the Booking Office. Even worse at the Caley Picture House.

The other good thing is it is Monday prices, £1:99 per pint. Happy days.

I'm always amused by the difference in pint prices in Spoons. You can hit 4 in Edinburgh within a 10 minute walk and there's a variance of around 40-50p per pint.

The Beer Festival beers are advertised at £2:05 per pint during the time of the festival except on a Monday when everything is £1:99 in ours.

Visited my local one last night, eight festival beers on plus a new (to me) Salopian one. All in good condition, but nothing to get excited about, plus the eight were all from counties I have plenty of rates from except the Vale offering from Bucks and the Maxim Azacca which I had to take back as it had 'gone', so no rate for that.

£2.19 a pint in my one.

<*))))))><

Bargain shire prices ... think it was £3.45 at the Willow Walk last Friday IIRC.

Assuming Storm Brian doesn't hit the south east too hard, I will be in London doing as many Spoons as is necessary to pick up the 19 I have left to try.

OK, so it looks like the apocalyptic weather warnings are a little over exaggerated.

However, the bike is completely out. So it'll be public transport. For once the Circle Line looks like it'll be working at the weekend. Therefore from St Pancras it'll be Circle Line to Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Tower Hill and Monument for Sir John Oldcastle, Hamilton Hall, Liberty Bounds and Crosse Keys. If I can't get all 19 in that stretch then gods help me.

Sat at Ashford International station waiting for my train to St Pancras to start yet another epic hunt for all the JDW festival beers

I have done this trip many times but i am doing something slightly different this time. Instead of cycling i will be using the Circle Line mostly to move from pub to pub.

Good luck Ian. A spoons fest isn't the same without your Saturday hunt.
