A few are beginning to filter in now. The Purkmistr is ok actually.

If you want a laugh, take a look at the Brewery Locator map in the programme, loads of errors, some of the funniest are Leeds brewery in London and Everards seem to have moved to near where I live. Purity are showing up near Wales, the list goes on.

Poor show in Folkestone and Ashford Spoons on first day of a fest. Only 3 new beers on for me. And thats out of 41.

Best so far? The Grainstore Tupping Ale that was on at Ashford, but not part of the festival. Really drinkable bitter, great biscuity malt.

Oh and the Goudon Carolus got me a little high too.

We should meet up sometime as you are back in Canterbury. Maybe share some beers in the festival?

wheresthepath 549:24 Had 7 new ones yesterday (could have had 15 or so in the Back of Beyond here in Reading!) - Moorhouse’s Black Panther was the best for me, Toshi’s Amber Ale also very good. Not hugely keen on the Caledonian Double Dark.

Incidentally, looking up the Purkmistr, I noticed that the guest brewers are now down as "contract brewed" on this website, and as such are listed in a separate section at the bottom of the brewry list - ie if you go into the beer list for Marstons, the Purkmistr is not in alphabetical order but is instead listed separately at the bottom. When did this change? Took me quite a while to track it down!

Cheers
