I was hoping for a decent APA, but got an average one instead.

I found the hops rather muddled - the blend didn’t work for me. And the malt base was rather indifferent. It was a drinkable beer, but less than average.

Yeah the Adnams I thought was a very good Burtonised light bitter with enough flavour to make you want another.

Supernova beer of the festival so far.

Is the Port Shepherd Neame Grumpy Pale Ale on the site yet, or because of the new way of adding contract brews, can no one work out/is brave enough to add it???

OK added it, and it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, it’s all pretty obvious/intuitive. 11/3/2009 2:39:09 AM

Iv corrected it Ian, you had just added the brewer/brewery the wrong way around.

Is the Weston’s Marcle Farmer Henry Perry a rebadge of this??

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/westons-original-perry/21170/

Descriptions seem similar to what I had last night and the ABV is the same.
